Alan Carpenter

He held various ministerial positions before becoming Premier, where he focused on environmental and indigenous issues. Carpenter retired from politics in 2009.

James Strong

James Strong was a prominent Australian businessman born in Busselton in 1944. He was the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qantas, one of the world's leading airlines. Strong played a pivotal role in transforming Qantas, making it one of the most successful airlines globally. He was also involved in several other industries, including tourism, finance, and arts. Strong passed away in 2013 at the age of 68.
