๐ฟ Georgiana Molloy
Botanical collector Georgiana Molloy moved from Augusta to the Vasse district in 1839 and lived at Fair Lawn until her death in 1843. She collected and carefully packed seeds for the English botanist James Mangles, providing descriptions that helped European researchers learn about Western Australian plants. Her work required close observation and painstaking handling of material, rather than simply posting away a handful of seeds. The Busselton connection belongs to the later years of her life and collecting, following the earlier Augusta chapter for which she is also remembered.
